Revised Fall 2009

Winter 2003 - 2004

Lots of fresh new paint and warm North Carolina temperatures – inside the green house that is – I think it was 20 outside on the day the picture of the thermometer was taken.

As best I can recall, the hull below the sheer was, but above the bottom paint was covered with System 3 high build primer followed by Sys 3 Gloss white top coat. These were sprayed on with a Wagner power painter – hand held – drippy. The green is Sys 3. All over above the sheer I used Sherwin Williams Floor and deck enamel – ? oil based? – which I rolled on.

The ply in the center of the deck is there to keep me from falling into the hole for the hatch !! Boy those dorades look good – you should see them now.
